Pastor

Tom Blodgett

Before accepting the call to be the Senior Pastor in January of 2021, Tom served as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families since late summer of 2019. Before pursuing full-time ministry, Tom spent time serving in the Marine Corps where he spent nearly eight years as an active-duty Marine. Tom was medically separated from the Marine Corps and was then reminded not so subtly that God had a call on his life to ministry. This was when he recommitted to fully serving Christ through pastoral ministry.

Before all of that occured, Tom was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. He was active in his church from early on and made his commitment to Christ in elementary school, this is also around the time Tom acknowledged his call to ministry. During his teenage years Tom moved to a new area and there he met his wife, Brianne. They were married in early 2004 and have 3 wonderful children.

Tom believes that the church is a place of healing where people come together to worship the Lord. He holds that every person in the church family is vital to the ministry of Christ’s church, from the oldest person down to the youngest.

A few favorites: Combat sports, metal working, smoked meats, outdoor activities, and of course, family time.

Life verse/passage:  John 3:16-17emphasis on verse 17”

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Associate Pastor

BRYAN DUBY

Bryan was born and raised in the Metro-Detroit area of Michigan. Bryan made a commitment to Christ as a freshman in high school and has been active serving in the local church ever since. While working for his local police department in the jail and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Bryan felt God calling him into full time ministry.

Upon completing his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice (2008), Bryan attended Moody Bible Institute where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Youth Ministry and Bible (2012). After Moody, Bryan moved to Independence, MO to serve at a faith based boarding school where he met his wife, Rachel. They were married in 2014 and have 3 young children.

Bryan enjoys working and serving alongside others so that people might see and know Jesus through the way we care for one another and the way we live our lives. John 13:34-35 says, 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

A few favorites: Family time, visiting state parks, the zoo, working outdoors in the yard, visiting thrift stores / flea markets, relaxing at home.

Life verse/passage: Romans 5:6-8

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
