Women's Ministry

A ministry of women who plan, organize, recruit volunteers for, monetize, a vibrant, active ministry for HORC. They use their personality, life experiences, talents, natural abilities, and God-given gifts to create the kind of ministry for women that will be meaningful and fun. The Women's ministry makes a difference in our community and around the world.

Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Men's Ministry

The HORC Men are committed to bringing glory to God by equipping each other for Christ-Like servant leadership in their homes, church, workplace, and community. Scripture is clear about the leadership roles men have as husbands and fathers, as employees or business owners, and as leaders in the Church. They are called to show and exhibit integrity, character, and humility in upholding our Christian principles.

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves.

Counseling/Marriage Ministry

Counseling is a ministry that must be a God-Given gift and should never be taken lightly. The minister or person with this particular ministry must be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). You must anticipate and try to avoid anything that could be misinterpreted or has any possibility of adding to the person's pain. You must also earn their trust and friendship, so the participants feel secure enough to confide their darkest secrets. This kind of trust usually must be earned and is the main reason why Pastors are often the church counselor.

Couples Ministry seeks to strengthen and encourage couples in full-time ministry and to build stronger marriages. We do this by teaching the importance of a balanced marriage through the Word of God by bringing awareness to married couples concerning their covenant to God and each other.

Mentorship

Mentorship is biblical and necessary part of the local Church. For the Church to see spiritual and foundational growth in their young men and women's hearts, mentorship is needed. Some of the greatest mentor-mentee relationships included Eli and Samuel (1 Samuel 3), Elijah and Elisha (1 and 2 Kings), and Paul and Timothy (1 and 2 Timothy).

Children's/Youth Ministry

Our children ranging from age 4 to 16 years old have their very own church service. Our incredibly special volunteers/ministers supervise them, but the children lead the praise/worship, take up their offerings, minister, bible study, close in prayer, etc.

College Aid Fund

We at the House of Restoration are aware of the financial strain on households to afford the rising cost of college books, etc. We will assess each high school graduate's needs, and HOR will pay for their freshman-year books.

Music Ministry

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, leading the congregation in worship, and providing an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship experience. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through musical expressions.

2 Chron 20:21

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth forever.

Praise Team

Dance instructions are given and taught by the director to usher the presence of God into the sanctuary.

Psalm 149:3

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises to him with the tambourine and harp.

Media Ministry

Our ministry's technical branch is committed to ensuring that our worship service's technical aspects are of the best quality, including Screen Support (Main Operating Screen in Sanctuary), Online Stream, Camera Operators, etc.

Usher Ministry

Assists members and visitors in finding seating in the sanctuary and overflow rooms. They control the traffic flow in/out of the sanctuary, support pastoral staff and leadership during services, such as distributing handouts, delivering messages, etc. Ushers work in conjunction with the Deacons to maintain reverence in the sanctuary worship areas and lobby.

Sunday School Ministry

Teaching God's word scripture by scripture. Learning the Bible and textual translation.
