CHILD DEDICATION ON MOTHER’S DAY

This Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 12th) we will celebrate together through the dedication of children. It is our privilege to present our children to the Lord and our duty to raise them in His ways. If you would like to have your child dedicated, with the pledge to raise them up in the Lord, please contact Pastor Adam or the church office.

WORSHIP AND COOKOUT IN THE PARK

Mark your calendar for worship in the park on Sunday, June 15th, at 10:30. We will – once again – be worshiping at Eastside Park and enjoying a community cookout following our time of worship. Everyone in the surrounding community is welcome, so please extend the invitation. Donations for food are needed, as are volunteers to assist. Please contact David Hooten if you can help.

FOUNDATIONS CHILDCARE MINISTRY

Many within our church have been active in preparing for the opening of Foundations Childcare Ministry this summer. Our trustees have completed renovations to various areas and several classrooms, our board of overseers have written policies and procedures for the ministry, and we are very excited for the opportunity to offer daycare and preschool to families in and around Washington, serving children from 6 weeks through pre-school age. If you have questions about Foundations Childcare Ministry, we encourage you to talk with Lisa Hinderliter, Amy Hamm, Kim Conder, or Tim Stoner. We also encourage you to pray for this ministry and to spread the word throughout our community – especially among friends and family members in need of childcare. Inquiries can also be made through our website; winfmc.org/foundations.

ACCEPTING APPPLCATIONS & RESUMES

Foundations Childcare Ministry is currently accepting applications and resumes for a full-time Childcare Ministry Director. The Director serves as a representative of the Washington Free Methodist Church and ministers in a pastoral role in the daycare, in the church, and in the community. For more information, or to apply, visit winfmc.org/foundationsjobs
