Missions at Burt Avenue
Missions are a huge part of what we do at Burt Avenue Wesleyan Church. We take seriously the commandment that Jesus gave of going and making disciples of all nations. Whether that is achieved through mission trips close to home, abroad or supporting our many missionaries all over the world, we believe we have an obligation and consider it a privilege to go and share the love of Jesus to everyone everywhere.
Missions Trip Committee
Our Missions Trip Commitee does fundraisers and missions projects throughout the year to help fund our Missions Trip Fund that allows us to go on missions trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This committee meets 6-8 times a year and serves in various capacities to raise funds for mission trips. If you are interested in serving on mission trips, consider joining this committee.
Missions Fundraisers
Join us for our various missions fundraisers. We have monthly luncheons after the Sunday morning service and our annual Faith Promise pledges which help us support our missionaries.
Missions Committee
If you have a heart for missions and are interested in serving on the Missions Committee that plans missions services, the missions budget for the missionaries and ministry organizations we support and our annual Missions Conference, please contact the church office. This committee meets 4-6 times a year.
