Making the Needs Known!

WE CANNOT DO THIS MINISTRY WITHOUT YOUR HELP! Your generous donations are what makes our ministry possible. When we are delivering food to the orphanages or families, it’s Jesus working through YOU, giving them the food they need. When we are helping take care of a medical issue, it’s Jesus working through YOU, helping someone get the medical care they need. So I am turning to YOU now to ask for your help.

The needs are never ending, but we have FOUR PRESSING NEEDS that I must address with you.

  1.       FOOD DELIVERIES:  We have been delivering Manna Pack nutritious meals to three orphanages and 20 families. The food is free, but the shipping to Haiti costs $10 per box of 36 Manna Packs.  We receive 35 boxes at $10 per box, or $350 per month. We struggle to meet this obligation every month. Would you consider sponsoring a food box or two for $10 per box each month?   2. SHUTTLE BUS SHIPMENT: Remember the shuttle bus we bought last year? Well it’s still waiting to be shipped! We have it loaded with clothing, shoes, medical supplies, solar panels and much more. BUT to ship it will cost us $8500. We would like to ship it in September, but we can’t ship it without your help.   3.  PIERRE PAYEN ORPHANAGE TOILETS: We posted earlier about needing to replace the toilets at the Jesus of Nazareth Orphanage in Pierre Payen. You can read the post HERE. They are still very much in need of new toilets especially now that rainy season is upon us! The church associated with this orphanage has contributed to digging the septic pit, and building the cement block walls to hold the waste. But so much more needs to be done. The cost of completion will be $10,000 to build new toilets and showers, but it will be SO much better than what they have now. Would you like to help?   4. OD DAM KAY TIMOUN YO HOUSING Mackenzie’s orphanage needs housing! They have an old house that needs a new roof and more rooms added to it to make it livable. The children right now are living in Mackenzia’s family home sleeping on the floor. Seventeen children sleeping wherever they can fit is NOT a good living situation. The sooner we can get the house repaired and rooms built the sooner these children can have a decent place to sleep and live. There is so much they need to be a proper orphanage. But this would be a good start. We are estimating the cost of about $2,000 for a new roof and doors.  Would you like to help?
