Darwens is 7 yrs old and is living at Fondasyonal Kay Ti Moun yo.

Darwin’s parents went to the Dominican Republic to try to find work and left him with is grandfather. His grandfather has a garden to tend so he can sell his produce. He couldn’t take care of Darwens while working the garden, so he has placed him in Mackencia’s care, at Fondasyonal Kay Ti Moun yo, until his parents return and can care for him themselves again.

Our hope for Darwens is that he will someday be reunited with his family. We will be working toward that goal as soon as his parents return. Sponsorship for Darwens will be transferred to a family sponsorship if needed once he is back with his family.
