Our Team

(Aaron, Elaine and Les)

Each member of our team brings a very unique set of gifts and talents to the table.  When we're together, you never know what is going to be said or done, but one thing is for sure, it's going to be a good time!  We absolutely love working together to serve our churches and pastors.  Let us know how we can serve you!

Les Crossfield

District SuperintendEnt

Les grew up in southern Indiana where he first felt the call to ministry as a teenager.  But, like so many, Les had a different plan in mind and pursued a career in business where he quickly rose up the corporate ladder and learned valuable lessons in leadership and management.  After more than a decade of running from that calling, Les finally surrendered to God’s will, and at the age of 26, decided to make ministry his focus.

After completing his education from IWU, he served as senior pastor of two different churches in Ohio.  In both cases, first in Mt. Orab and then in Newark, he was able to draw from his time in corporate leadership to lead them through amazing times of growth, renewal and refocus.  In 2012, he was elected as the District Superintendent of the Greater Ohio District.  During his tenure as D.S., Les has spent his time creating a new leadership culture in Ohio with an emphasis on excellence, leadership development and accountability.  His passion for church health has been the driving force behind the vision and mission of the District.

Outside of the office, Les is a proud husband, father and grandpa!  Les and his wife Chris have two children, Cheryl and Kyle, and four grandkids that are their pride and joy.  When he’s not busy spending time with his family, Les likes to put his athleticism to use on the golf course where he can still feed his competitive spirit.

Aaron Holley

executive director of culture and innovation

Aaron grew up in southeastern Ohio as a PK in the Crown City Wesleyan Church.  After completing his degree in Education from Marshall University, he moved to Columbus to help plant a church out of Cypress Wesleyan called CrossLink.  In 2004, he was offered the opportunity to go on staff at a large church on the east side of Columbus where he helped grow a struggling youth ministry of 15 to nearly 100.  Eventually, he was asked to create a young adult community to minister to the more than 400 young adults there.

While working as a young adult pastor, Aaron enrolled in the Master’s program at IWU and graduated with an M.A. in Ministerial Leadership from the first cohort of Wesley Seminary in 2009.  It was his time in Sheffield, England with Dr. Bob Whitesel and Russ Gunsalus, that led him in a new ministry direction.  His passion to help the local church led him to start consulting with churches that were navigating transition and change.  His work as a church consultant prompted Les to bring him on staff with the District.

In addition to his full-time role with the District, he and his wife Erin, lead a ministry in Hilliard, OH called Public House.  Outside of ministry, family and friends are his priority. He and Erin welcomed their first daughter in August of this year! He’s an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to football!  His passion is finding innovative ways to reach a hurting world with the hope of the Gospel.
