Church family,
Yesterday in the service we had the privilege of praying for and sending off the Spencer family. The Spencer family has faithfully attended our church for two years, and we are excited that God has opened new doors for them in Connecticut! I want to thank the Spencer family for all they have done during their time at Millbrook Nazarene. We will certainly miss them!
Please be in prayer for Anna Moseley and Leeana Davis as they continue their mission work this week in Costa Rica. Anna and Leeana will be returning this coming Saturday. Be in prayer for safe travels, and be in prayer that the Lord moves through their work.
Our new Women’s Group begins this coming Wednesday night, the 11th, at 6:30pm here at church. This group is open to all the women of Millbrook. Gladys Moseley has been preparing a studies from Proverbs. Brian and Rana Davis will be leading a class at 7pm on “His Kingdom Come.” I am challenging us all, whether on Sunday morning, Sunday night, or Wednesday night, find a group to plug in to!
Immediately following the service on Sunday, July 22nd, Women’s Ministries will be hosting a baby shower for Pamela and Daniel Millo! Pamela and Daniel are expecting a baby girl in the fall, and are registered at Target. Let’s all come out and show our support for them!
On July 29th we are having a 5th Sunday Mission Breakfast. We will have no Sunday school on this date and will all meet in the gym at 9:30am before the service. Please bring a breakfast dish to share with your family and another! We will enjoy fellowship time, a meal together, and Millie McGee will lead us in discussing missions! Be sure and mark this date on your calendar!
Every Monday night from 5-7pm our Clothing for Christ ministry is open. Each week several women from our church come together, host the ministry, and sort and hang clothing. Carol Gargus and Lee Watson have done an unbelievable job with our Clothing Ministry, and we have clothed over 200 individuals in our community in the last year. If you are interested in serving on a Monday evening, please let Carol Gargus know!
