OCTOBER is PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
Expressing
appreciation to your pastor and his/her family can take many forms.
Here are just 5
actions that are appropriate any time of the year:
Pray daily for your pastor
& spouse, that their love for one another and God deepens.
Respect your pastors
evening family time by not calling him / her after 7:00pm.
Thoughtful gifts include baked items,
restaurant gift cards, and offers to babysit.
Share words of
appreciation
with greater eagerness than words of constructive criticism.
Be aware: Preachers kids
are forming their view of the Church based, in part, upon how they feel the
congregation treats their parents. Make them glad to be PKs.
