Text: Colossians 1:15-16 To know God more, we seek to understand His ways and His very character. The very essence of God is His goodness and justice. God is a loving and just judge; therefore, we are able to put our trust and hope in Him because we know this His "bigger plan" is just, right, fair and good. Join us as we strive to see God as He really is.
Seeing God Clearly Part IV
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/05/25
Text: John 3:16; Ephesians 3:1-21 Why does love matter? Because we were made to love and be loved. Because there is a space, a void, inside of us that needs to be filled. But the only love that matters, the only love that is truly life-changing, is the extravagant love of God. Without it, we will starve to death. With it, we can take on the world. Join us as we begin to look at the amazing love of God.

Text: Psalm 97:1-2 To know God more, we seek to understand His ways and His very character. The very essence of God is His goodness and justice. Seeing God Clearly Part II
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/05/11
Text: Exodus 33:18-19
As we start to take a closer look at the specific attributes of God, we see how good God is. His goodness is evident as we look at His nature and His plan to deliver us from our sin and a hopeless future by sending us His Son. Because of that we have the hope of an eternity spent with Him! Truly, God is good and we want to celebrate His goodness as we see a clear picture of just who God is!
Seeing God Clearly
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/05/04
Text: 1 John 3:2; 2 Corinthians 3:18 Do you really know who God is? In order to know Him, we have to seek Him and clearly see who He is. Our view of God is absolutely the most important thing about our lives. It will shape our actions and impact our relationship with God and people. We want people to hunger and thirst after God; to seek to know Him and His holy presence in their lives. This kind of living is full of incredible healing, joy and freedom. It's also transforming. Join us as we strive to see God as He really is.
I Will Not Be Silent
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/04/27
Text: Psalm 30 King David was "a man after God's own heart," so no matter what was happening in his life, he always had a song to sing and play for God. In fact, he was the ultimate singer/songwriter of his day. Whatever his mood or circumstance, David was determined to connect to God through praise. Silence was not an option. So whoever you are and whatever you're struggling with, look to God and praise Him. Move toward God and worship Him. Don't be silent. God wants to hear from you and is waiting to lift you up and out of whatever you are going through. Join us as we look at one of David's psalms and praise God together.
Jesus; Savior Of The World
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/04/20
Text: John 4:10-11, 13-15
We need a Savior and Jesus is it. If we ask, He will rescue us from our sin. He knows where we are today. He knows exactly what we are feeling and thinking. He knows the brokenness that can envelop our lives. He knows just how flawed we can be and how bad we can mess up. But Christ has come to seek and save the lost.
Pictures of Jesus; The Servant
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/04/13
Text: Isaiah 40:10-11 God created us so that we would have fellowship, companionship and friendship with Him. But because of sin and the brokenness of this world, we are unable to connect and be at peace with God. There is a wall that stands between us. We long for a relationship with our Father, and even more, our Father wants us to be restored back to Him. God was willing to come tothis earth even before we were ever created. He came because He loved us more than His position in heaven. He longs for the fellowship that can only come through salvation and obedience. Only then are we made holy and restored by the indwelling presence of God in our lives through Jesus Christ, God's son.

Broken For Good Part VI
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/03/30
Text: Matthew 18:1-4; Isaiah 53:4-7
As we continue our series on brokenness, humility and surrender are the keys to a spirit-filled, God-controlled life. It's not easy to hand over the reigns and ask someone to take over, but allowing God to break our will and tame our soul is the greatest thing that we can ever experience. God uses the broken for His good.

Text: Psalm 51:16-17, Romans 12:1, Luke 9:23-25 As we continue our series on brokenness, we look at the picture of what it is really all about. The only way our lives will count for God's eternal good, is if we allow Him to break us. Go For The Goal
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/02/09
Text: Psalm 85:1-13 Often we know what it should look like to have a life-changing, all-out, give-it-all-we've-got relationship with Christ. We see others live the kind of life we long for. We know God could give us what it takes to live like that for Him, but it just seems so far out of our reach. The good news is that He has already done it for us. Does that mean we get to sit back and coast along? Absolutely not! But it is through His power that we are able to work out our salvation and our new life in Christ. We are calling everybody to move forward in their journey and "Go for the goal."
Honest To God: Deal With It
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/02/02
Text: Acts 5:1-11 We want to look at ourselves and how we respond to God and His plan for our lives. It's easy to come to church and feel a connection, but what happens when we walk out the door into the world? Do we continue to live the way we always have or does our connection with God make a real difference in every moment of our lives. Do we hold on to the sins that bring us satisfaction for a moment or do we cling to the God who offers a peace for all eternity? Join us as we take the reality of God a step further and deal with cleaning up our lives in response to His great love.
Honest To God: Take A Good Look
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/01/26
Text: Isaiah 19:13 Get real. This is what God is asking from us today . . . for us to take an honest look at His role in our life. To be completely honest, sometimes we push God out of our lives without even realizing it. We want to be the ones in control. We want to rule our world. We want to be the "fairest in all the land." Will you be willing to step up to the mirror and take a good look? Join us as we evaluate what we see and get completely honest before God.
Be Imitators Of God
Pastor Wes Humble 2014/01/05
Text: Ephesians 5:1-20
"Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children." You and I have the privilege and potential to be "imitators of God." In this coming year, as we seek to follow His example in all that we do, God will guide us, empower us, and reward us in extraordinary ways!
Are You Ready For The New Year
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/12/29
Text: Romans 13: 8-14
How can we prepare for the New Year? How should we prepare or should we do anything at all? Some people could care less about doing anything different in a new year but as people who belong to the Lord we should care! We should care about doing better and being better! Doing more and being better.

So You Want To Be A Christian; Heaven
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/11/24
Text: John 14:1-4
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die. It's true, isn't it? Death is scary. And when we lie awake at night thinking about it . . . sometimes words like doubt, fear, and grief come to mind. But here's the good news - Philippians 3:20-21 says, "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak, mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under His control." Join us this weekend as we talk about the Heaven our great God is preparing for us!
So You Want To Be A Christian; Courageous
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/11/17
Text: Matthew 7:21-23; Zechariah 3:1-8
It takes bravery and courage to stand up for Christ and stand up to this world. But with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can make our mark on the Kingdom of God. He calls us to battle the enemy and, with Him at our side, to win the greatest fight anyone will ever face. Our community, our church, our neighbors and our families need us to stand strong and courageously fight to keep ourselves holy in the face of an increasingly unholy world.
So You Want To Be A Christian; Forgiveness
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/11/10
Text: John 8: 3-11
Do you remember when you experienced salvation and these words were spoken to you from Christ, "I forgive you." Forgiveness makes love possible. Everyone fails. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone needs to learn both to offer forgiveness and accept it. While it's easy to talk about, it's a lot harder to live out.
So You Want To Be A Christian; Community
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/11/03
Text: I Corinthians 12:12-27
People need people...that sense of belonging and feeling connected, being loved and understood, being accepted and knowing someone cares. We all need each other. Life's completeness and richness depends on the things we share with our community. How will you connect with your church family in the days ahead?
So You Want To Be A Christian; Our Work
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/10/27
Text: Colossians 3:23-24; I Corinthians 7:17
As Christians, our heart and mind should be aligned to our Sovereign God in surrender every minute of every day to be used however God needs or wants. With this attitude of heart, God will open doors and use us. In our everyday "normal" life, we are partnering with God and His job that He has for us in this world.
So You Want To Be A Christian; Prayer
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/10/20
Text: Matthew 6:5-13
We are picking up our series from the Spring, So You Want To Be A Christian, and realizing the importance of prayer and why we do it. Prayer is nothing more than opening up our hearts and minds to Christ and aligning our souls to His will. Based on the familiar "Lord's Prayer," we are calling people to pray.
Stewardship; Caring for Faith, Family, &Finances
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/10/13
Text: Hebrews 10:23; Deuteronomy 6:6-9; Matthew 18:6; Proverbs 3:5-10
God has blessed each of us with a variety of resources: our health, our family, friends, jobs, good food, money, talents, intelligence, a beautiful world, an awesome church . . . and the list goes on. As Christians, God calls us to make a difference in His Kingdom . . . to truly be The Church. He calls us to action and responsibility. To manage and care for everything that God has brought into our lives in a way that pleases and honors Him and impacts eternity. Are you ready for the challenge?
Ready? Or Not?
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/10/05
Text: 2 Peter 3:8-18
In Peter's final word to believers, he gives encouragement as we live out our days here on earth. Our lives are not our own. We surrender to Christ for the glory of our King, knowing someday soon we will be with Him in heaven for eternity. Blessing and honor and glory and power forever to our God!
Keep Your Head Up; He Is Returning
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/09/22
Text: 2 Peter 3:1-7
When we've committed our lives to something, when we're "in it" for the long haul . . . we need more than just a 5 hour energy drink to pull it off. A lot of times it's just easier to put our heads down and try to live our lives as best we can. But as Christians, we are reminded to "keep our heads up" and remember that Christ's return is a reality. This truth is hope and fuel for our lives.
Knowing God: The Whole Truth [Part II]
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/09/15
Text: 2 Peter 2:10b-22
There are many voices out there in this world trying to tell us who God is and how He works. It can be overwhelming and confusing - especially when the voices contradict each other. Peter warns us that there will be those out there who will try to mislead us and guide us away from God, rather than to Him. That is why it is so important to know the truth . . . the whole truth. And the only place you can find that Truth is in the Word of God. Join us as we look at part 2 of how to stay on track with what is really true and how to avoid the traps and lies that Satan would love for us to believe.

Knowing God: Truth Or Consequences
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/08/25
Text: 2 Peter 2:1-10a
God has created each of us for one reason - to have a loving, pure, holy relationship with Him. He made us for this. And therefore, we all have, somewhere inside of us, the desire to live a life that will make that relationship possible. But we are so often dragged down and pulled away by the enemy who tells us lies and uses others to mislead and guide us in the wrong direction. That's why it is so important for us to be constantly in God's Word and saturate our hearts and minds with His Truth! Join us this weekend as we look at how false beliefs can lead us astray and as we soak in the one, true Word of God. Hope to see you!
Knowing God: The Word Of Truth
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/08/18
Text: 2 Peter 1:16-21
It’s not popular these days to have a strong opinion about our faith and doctrine. It’s more convenient and comfortable to change our beliefs than to live out the truth given to us in God’s Word. Peter has something to say on this subject. He boldly proclaims that God and Jesus are the real deal. He warns us to pay close attention to the Word, for it is “like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.” The truth is, there are many voices calling us to pursue many paths. The question is, which voice has your attention? Let’s choose God’s voice today. His truth and His holiness. It’s the only way to live a life of joy, peace, freedom and hope!
Knowing God: Don't Forget To Remember
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/08/11
Text: 2 Peter 1:12-15
As we continue to look at 2 Peter, we find that the author is reminding the recipients of his letter about what really matters. Do you ever forget the important things? Life gets busy and there are so many distractions out there, but we must always come back to the foundation of what we believe and why God has placed us here. Peter felt a strong need to continually remind those God had entrusted to him that God had a plan for their lives - and things are no different today. We need to remember God's plan too! Join us as we remember together what really matters.
Knowing God: Determined
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/08/04
Text: 2 Peter 1:1-11
This weekend we begin Part 2 of our summer series as we continue to move on to 2 Peter. The major theme in Peter's second book is for God's people to increase their knowledge about Him so that we might live godly lives on this earth. The good news is, we CAN be like Christ. God has given us everything we need, including His promise, a plan and a reward.
Better Days Ahead
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/07/21
Text: 1 Peter 5:6-11
This week's message is one of hope. Peter, Jesus' disciple, had run the gamut of pain and suffering. He'd been tortured, beaten down, thrown into prison, treated unfairly, and finally crucified upside down on a cross. Peter knew a thing or two about trials and tribulations to say the least. Yet through it all, he also knew what was ahead. One thing is for sure . . . our hope is in Jesus! He is our Rock, our Redeemer, our Healer, our Deliverer and Sustainer. Our goal and reward is to some day live with Him in heaven forever. Join us as we worship Him!
Servant Leaders
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/07/14
Text: 1 Peter 5:1-5
All of us have someone who looks to us as an example of how to live. As followers of Christ, this responsibility is so important and we should strive to live in such a way that those watching us can see the life of Christ in us. When we are following the example of Christ, we can be confident that we are leading others in the right direction, always pointing them to Him. Join us as we continue in our look at the book of 1 Peter and what he has to say about leading other.
Finding Hope In Hopelessness
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/07/07
Text: 1 Peter 4:12-19
Although we'd prefer smooth sailing on untroubled waters, sooner or later we will encounter rough and stormy waters. Experiences of trials, burdens, and suffering are a normal part of life, but knowing Jesus as our source of hope and strength gives us encouragement to carry on. Wherever you are in life, whatever you are going through...take heart, with Jesus you can make it.
Do Something
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/06/30
Text: 1 Peter 4:7-11
Our lives are a reflection of who we are. As Christians, that means our lives reflect the good news of Jesus. What's that look like? We show grace and love to every person. We demonstrate hospitality with an attitude of generosity. And we love to look for ways to give to and serve others. It's a natural outpouring of God's Spirit in and through us. When we live this way, everything we do brings glory to God through Jesus Christ. Join us as we worship Him and learn together what it means to belong to Him.

Victorious=Faith+Hope+Suffering
Pastor Wes Humble 2013/06/16
Text: 1 Peter 3:18-22
We really want to avoid suffering at any cost. It just doesn't sound like fun . . . and it isn't. However, God's Word tells us that when we choose to follow Christ, we choose to suffer along with Him. That's just part of the life we embrace. But it is not just suffering for the sake of suffering. As with all things, Christ is our example in this. His suffering led to His resurrection, which in turn gives us the opportunity of resurrection and eternal life. Our suffering should also be for the benefit of those around us. The good news is that He has promised that it will be worth everything we go through when we finally see Him! Join us as we talk about what it really means to be like Christ.
