Dr. Charles Millhuff was born and raised in Chicago with his twin brother, Howard, and older sister, Marjorie. His parents brought him to the First Church of the Nazarene as an infant where later he found Christ as his personal Savior at the age of five. At the age of seven, in this same church, during a revival service, he felt called into the field of evangelism, a calling he has never veered from.

He was educated in the Chicago Public School System. He earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy and speech at OLIVET NAZARENE UNIVERSITY.His Bachelor of Divinity degree was completed at NAZARENE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY. In 1981, MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY awarded him the Doctor of Divinity degree for his extensive work in national and international Evangelism. In 1994, he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from NAZARENE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY.

Dr. Millhuff is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Having never pastored, he has held over 1500 crusades since completing his seminary work. Chuck, as most people know him, has written five books, numerous songs, (the most famous THE KING IS COMING co-authored with Bill and Gloria Gaither) and many scripts and articles. He has produced countless musical, preaching, and recorded resources.

Chucks wife, Jeanne, is a Professor of English Composition and Journalism at MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY.  Their vacation, for many years, has been to pack a few tee shirts and jeans into their 98 RED CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE, and leave for two weeks for a no plan vacation. They head in a general direction and make their plans as they go, stopping to eat where the pickup trucks are parked. Most of their travel is on state and county roads.

The Millhuffs have two children.Chip is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Topeka, Kansas, where he lives with his wife, Linda, and their three children. His daughter, Melinda, lives in Olathe, Kansas, and is a 4th grade elementary school teacher.

Evangelist Millhuff has preached in the largest as well as the smallest churches in North America. He has held several crusades for Jerry Fallwell at the Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, as well as ThePeoples Church of Toronto to name but two. He is the first Holiness preacher to preach on American and Canadian national television ever, and has done this numerous times. Still, most of his ministry is to the average and small sized church. His philosophy:"There are no small churches, only small buildings."

Dr. Millhuff has a clear vision of what he believes the church must be to reach the Western World, with its fast-changing mentality. He envisions a functional church that creates an atmosphere of intimacy, A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE FEEL SAFE TO TELL THE TRUTH. His preaching is self-revealing.He hurts with the hurting, he cries with the crying, but he is honest with the dishonest. He sees change as inevitable in style and form, but NOT in substance as it pertains to the creeds and doctrines of the church. He understands the reality of growth granted in grace. He is, however, insistent on the eternal, life-changing crises of the New Birth and the Sanctification of the believer that must intersect this process journey.

Chuck is a gifted communicator with a delivery that is forceful and articulate, yet punctuated by his keen sense of humor and his unusual understanding of the real person who sits in the pew.He loves what he does and sees no end in sight. He experiences no sense of confusion about the use of the Biblical office of EVANGELIST for the church in the 21st Century.
